He was predeceased by: his sister Sharon White; his parents, Betty and David; and his parents-in-law, Bobby and Mildred Rowland.

He is survived by: his spouse Jan Rowland Williams; his sons, Carter and Spencer; his siblings, Greg Williams (Terry), Clark Williams, Celeste Peele (Ronnie), Laura Byrne (Dan) and Tracy Robbins (Fred); and his siblings-in-law, Hoke White and Lisa Rowland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
