She is survived by: her husband Webster Davis Lightfoot; her sons, Kadeem Cofield of Edenton, Michael Cofield of San Antonio, TX, Treyl Beasley of Edenton and Makayla Cofield of Edenton; her siblings, Mildred Palmer of Edenton, Shirley Wynn (Mitchell) of Edenton, Angela Beasley of Edenton, Deborah Morris of Newport News, VA, Sheila Townsend of Fredericksburg, VA, Walter Cofield, Jr. (Valerie) of Edenton, Tony Cofield of Georiga and Edward Cofield of Philadelphia, PA; her godparents, Thomas "Pop" Williams of Edenton, Elnora of Edenton, Bond of Edenton, God-Sister and Carol Dillard of Hertford; and her aunt Mary Knight of Chesapeake, VA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Due to the mandated restrictions and health precautions associated with the Coronavirus Pandemic, private funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, and will be conducted by her brother-in-law, Elder Mitchell Wynn.
