She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McDaris and Rosa Penland McDaris; her son Darrell Banks; and her brothers, Roger and Donald McDaris.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Euhl Banks of Davidson; and her siblings, Jean Fitchett of Austin, Marilyn McDaris of Asheville and Michael McDaris of Charlotte. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
