He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Clyde Currie, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Neta L. Currie; his daughters, Phoebe Anne Currie Rogers (Matthew Wayne Rogers) and Allison Kaye Currie Brown (Adam Nathaniel Brown); his siblings, Gayle Wimbrow, George Currie (Susan), Robert Currie (Barbara), Pam Grissom (Greg) and Susan Winstead (Gary); and his grandchildren, Elijah Thomas Brown, Job Nathaniel Brown, Luke Justus Brown, Ian Matthew Rogers and Liam Xavier Rogers. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
