She is survived by: her daughters, Gwen Hammes (Harold Dean) and Susan Vaughn-Hix; her sister Dorothy Evans (H. B.) of Santa Rosa, CA; her grandchildren, Haley Hosler (Karl), H. Kaene Hammes (Caitlin) and Clarke Hammes (Holly); and her great grandchildren, Conor, Daisy, Weston, Rowen, Margaret, Ezekiel and Kirk. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church (474 Cedar Hill Rd, Alexander, NC 28701). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (474 Cedar Hill Rd, Alexander, NC 28701).
