She is survived by: her husband Edwin Phillips; her children, Paul Phillips (Mary) of Weaverville, Patty Phillips of Asheville and Amanda Bean (Scott) of Woodfin; her grandchildren, Seth Phillips (Leah), Cheryl Phillips Brantley (Andrew), Jake Phillips, Jasper Bean and Arthur Bean; her stepgrandchildren, Alex Clark (Jana) and Courtney Bennett (Joseph); her granddaughter Audrey Byrd; her great grandchild Penelope Bennett; her siblings-in-law, Wilma Carlisle (Everette), Judy Dendy, Russell Phillips and Robert Dale Phillips; her cousin Henrietta Phillips; and her niece Sherry Phillips-Jernigan (Barry).
