It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard William King (Weaverville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph King and Harriett Bullman King; his brother Gene King; and his children-in-law, Andrew Straight and Tracie King.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Marie King; his children, Carolina Straight, Richard William King, Jr. and Jeremy Patrick King; his siblings, Elaine Kiser and Lonnie King (Dottie); his grandchildren, Ashley Church (Jeffrey), Amanda McDaniel (Joey), Sierra Baldwin (Stuart) and Jeremy King II; and his great grandchildren, Reese and Riley Church. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
