With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Edward Nix (Weaverville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Nix and Virginia Nix; and his brother Steven. He is survived by: his sister Debra Bodkin (Frank) of Lexington, KY.; his wife Karen Pataky Nix; his children, Andrew Phillip Nix of Weaverville and Jessica Marie Nix Purcell (Matthew) of Arden; his grandson Jackson Taylor Purcell; and his pets, Franklin, Winston and Oliver. He is also survived by wife, his children, and many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America or the ALS Foundation.
