She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Phillips and Marie McIntosh Phillips; her husband James Doyle Ward; and her brother Ronnie Phillips. She is survived by: her son Rick Ward (Maxine); her granddaughters, Jenifer Klinger (Ryan) and Tabetha Jenkins (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Luke, Aubrey, Madelyn and Karlee; and her sister Patsy Gibson (Joe).
A reception will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Mt. Sheba Baptist Church (870 New Stock Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787). Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
