She was predeceased by: her parents, Tyson Baber and Katherine Whiteside Baber; and her husband Reverend J. C. Parker. She is survived by: her children, Julia Kay Parker, Welsey Carlton Parker (Anne) and Steven Randall Parker (Claudia). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Funeral Home (17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville, NC 28787).
