He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Elkins and Lucille Hamlin; and his brothers, Randy Elkins and Timothy Elkins. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Attreau (Eric) and Nicole Davis (Derick); his grandchildren, Kadon, Ashelyn, Caitlin and Kyrie (Nessie); and his siblings, Mike and Sheila.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Buckner-Elkins Cemetery (150 Elkins Branch Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787).
