She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff J. Whitt and Lois Ballard Whitt; her husband Bill Garrison; her mother-in-law Mary O'Neil Garrison; and her siblings, Vance Whitt (Irene), Jack Whitt (Peggy) and Mary Ball (Joe).
She is survived by: her children, Jeff and Leisa (Shawn Stirewalt) of Weaverville; her sister Ella Zene Wells (Harry) of Johnson City, TN; her sister-in-law Sharon Phillips (Edwin) of Weaverville; and her grandsons, Wil Garrison and Junior. She is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews and many dear, dear friends.
