With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Weaver Wright of Weaverville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wright and Susie Buckner Wright; and his siblings, Nancy Wright Atkins, Kathleen Landon, Leo Wright, James Everett, Billy Van and Mary Jo Wright.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joni Wright-White (Kelly) and Jerita Wright; his sister Jane Roberts (Benny); the mother of his children Juanita Swann-Gilbert; his grandchildren, Jake, Jasmine, Alexander and Logan; and his great grandchild Gabriel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
