He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Luther and Pauline Sprouse Luther Rice; and his siblings, Burnice, John Luther and Mildred Collette.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Wooten Luther; his children, Angie Williams (Joe), Donna Luther, Mike Luther (Vicki) and Richard Luther; his siblings, Cora Gillespie (Conley) and David Luther; and his sister-in-law Betty Luther. He is also survived by five granddaughters; four great- granddaughters and one great-grandson.
