Gene Withrow Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Withrow of Weaverville, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville L. Withrow and Lennie Wright Withrow; and his sisters, Joy Withrow and Robbie Gobble. He is survived by: his wife Paula V. Withrow of Asheville; his children, Heather Withrow Miller of Harrisonburg, VA and Jeffrey Sean Withrow of Denver, CO; his stepdaughter Claire Auerbach of Athens, GA; his sisters, Minnie Lee "Weedie" Ware and Faye Rollins of Cleveland, TN; and his grandchildren, Hensley, Reagan Miller, Adelaide and Lily Auerbach. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the JIM Rush Funeral Home (2603 N Ocoee St, Cleveland, TN 37312). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the McInturff Cemetery.
