He is survived by: his children, Peggy Myers (Ernest) of Asheville, Dale Pennell of Weaverville and Jeff Pennell (Carole) of Weaverville; his grandchildren, Matthew Pennell (Courtney), Emily Clark, Martha Cardenas (Matt), Nick Edmonds, Mark Edmonds (Tracy), Veronica Blasingame (David), Samuel Pennell (Gabriella) and Elizabeth Pennell; and his great grandchildren, Titus Edmonds, Baylor Edmonds, Elliott Edmonds, Naomi Pennell, Maggie Clark, Josie Clark and Ivy Jane Pennell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Family Funeral Services (17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville, NC 28787). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Weaverville United Methodist Church (85 S Main St, Weaverville, NC 28787). A burial was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at the West Memorial Park (40 Roberts St, Weaverville, NC 28787).
