We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2024, at the age of 91, Frances Brooks Gravitt of Weaverville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Gravitt (Hilda Starnes), Linda Oakley (Johnny Oakley) and Brooks Gravitt (Scott Henderson); her grandchildren, Whitney Oakley-Pegram (Lloyd Pegram), Holly Oakley Zoe Gravitt (Dalton Elmore), Emma Gravitt and Carter Pegram; and her siblings, Carolyn Hogan and Roger Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
