He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Davis and Alma Crum Davis; his wife Martha Davis; his son Larry Davis; his daughter-in-law Linda Davis; his granddaughter Tabitha Scurry; and his siblings, Helen Burnette, Evelyn Hoffman, Betty Jean Messer, Ray and Richard Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Allen Davis of Georgia, Dana Davis (Angie) of Candler and Tracy Davis (Cherie) of Hendersonville; his grandchildren, Amy, Angela, Evan, Alex, Cameron, Colby, Conner and Logan; and his sister Wanda West. He is also survived by twenty one great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
