He was predeceased by: his parents, Boss (J. DuVall) and Margaret H. DuVall; his sister Norma Jean Murphy; his sister-in-law Wanda DuVall; and his stepmother Betty DuVall.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry DuVall and Allen DuVall (Lucy); his stepsiblings, Sharon Reed (Terry), Susan Cope (Mike) and Michael Boyd (Terri); and his nephew Desi Murphy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
