He was predeceased by: his parents, Commodore Randolph Haney and Elsie Woods Haney; and his siblings, Christina Haney, Anna Mae Parris, Kathleen Parris, Trula Aiken and Donald Haney.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jones Haney; his daughters, Vicky Haney Michales (John) and Paula Haney Hoyle (Rick); his sister Virginia Stevens; his grandchildren, Jake Michales, Evan Hoyle and Emerson Anne Hoyle; and his nephew Wayne Parris.
