He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Buckner and Ada Buckner; his significant other Etta Bea Franklin Buckner; his daughter Rosetta Lynn Buckner Heylek; and his siblings, Howard, Luther, Doris, Bonnie and Betty Jean.
He is survived by: his sons, Dewayne (Annette) and Randy (Joy); his grandchildren, Heather, Brad, Ryan (Stacy) and Mackenzie (Rob); his great grandchildren, Karsen, Alyssa, Norah and Kohen; and his siblings, Barbara Wilson (Don), Helen Jarrett, Dennis and Gerald. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
