Beatrice June Briggs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice June Briggs (Weaverville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Homer Ponder and Della Revis Ponder. She is survived by: her husband Fred Franklin Briggs; her sons, Keith Briggs (Cecilia) and Kevin Briggs (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Ian, Brayden, Jaylin, Ava, Logan, Mason, Addison, Bo, Zander and Freya; and her brother Dennis Gerald Ponder.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Mt Bethel Freewill Baptist Church (290 Sheppard Branch Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Bethel Freewill Baptist Church (290 Sheppard Branch Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Calendar Mt. Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery (290 Sheppard Branch Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787).
