He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Zorro" Cogdill; and his father-in-law Frank Conley Ballard. He is survived by: his mother Lorene Willis Cogdill; his wife Caryn Ballard Cogdill; his children, Meagan Cogdill (Jonathan Mitchell) and Tyler Cogdill (Taylor); his siblings, Debbie Rhinehart, Carolyn Cogdill (Randy Price) and Robert "Peewee" Cogdill (Darlene); and his mother-in-law Brenda Brank Ballard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the Brank Cemetery (613 Reems Creek Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787).
