It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winfred Richard Wright Jr. (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Wright Sr. and Myrtle Middleton Wright; his wife Nancy Kay Pruett Wright; and his sister Peggy Wood. He is survived by: his children, Lynette Wright, Jason Wright and Travis Wright; his sisters, Laura Wood and Ann Owen; and his grandchildren, Ashley Wright Stokley (William) and Eli Wright (Ashley). He is also survived by family members and friends.
