He was predeceased by: his parent French Lance; and his siblings, Lorenzo Lance, Morris Lance and Betty Lance Metcalf. He is survived by: his parent Myrtle Cochran Lance; his wife Edna Mae Rickman Lance; his stepchildren, Jim Haney (Mary Ann) and Kathy Grooms (David); and his brother French Lance.
