It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Robert Nelson of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Nelson and Loretta Nelson; and his siblings, Tommy, Odell, Ruby Nelson, Wilma Osborne, Lavada Herring and Grace Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Lowe Nelson; his children, Sandy Arrington and Bill Nelson Jr.; and his grandchildren, Sarah Kuykendall (Cole), Rylie Nelson and McKinnley Nelson.
