He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Zimmerman and Verlie Graham Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son Bill (Amanda) of Decatur, GA; and his sister Tandy Goodwin (David) of Glen Allen, VA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Even in death he continued to give to others through donation of his organs.
