She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert and Maude Isabell Foster Mehaffey; her husband Lloyd George Jones; her siblings, James Albert Mehaffey, Jr., Bill Mehaffey and Ruby Mehaffey Arrington; and her pets, Tim, McDuffy, Raindrop and Buddy.

She is survived by: her sister Rena McGee of Old Fort; her niece Kimberly Carver; and her nephew John Carver.
