He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Caldwell and Ella Caldwell; his wife Katie Franklin Caldwell; his daughter Elizabeth Caldwell; and his siblings, Lloyd, Dock, John, Frank, Tommy Caldwell, Minnie Parton, Annie Caldwell, Cora Moody, Mary Parton and Betty Cook.
He is survived by: his son Charles Caldwell; his daughter-in-law Teresa; his sisters, Ruby Bradley and Sarah Sutton; and his grandsons, Will and Jesse Caldwell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
