He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pressley and Dolly Setzer Pressley; and his siblings, Faye Johnson, Nora Bailey, Billie Wells, Sarah Truitt, Bertie Joe Conard, Walter "Bud" and Eugene Pressley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Morgan Pressley of Waynesville; his son David Guy Pressley (Louann) of Canton; his stepchildren, Donna Morris of Houston, Texas and Bruce Poteat of Clyde; his grandchildren, Laurie Hall and Brett Pressley; and his great grandchild Chloe Hall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
