He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Clifford DeLozier, Sr. and Pauline "Polly" Andrews DeLozier; his wife Peggy DeLozier; his son-in-law Clinton Mathis; and his brother-in-law Charles Jordan.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Mathis and Matthew DeLozier (April); his sisters, Ferdie Barge (John) and Betty Jordan; and his grandchildren, Amanda Sims, Lori Mathis, Jonathan DeLozier (Sydney), Ethan DeLozier (Kourtney), Javan DeLozier, Savannah Smith and Jacey Mallory (Logan).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Waynesville (296 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green Hill Cemetery (161 Veterans Cir, Waynesville, NC 28786).
