He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ledford Banks; his mother Catherine Banks; his sons, Steven Banks, Jr. (Andrea) of Easley, SC, Brandon Ledford of Cullowhee and Michael Ledford of Waynesville; and his sisters, Wanda, Doris and Linda. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
