She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rich and Bessie Inman Rich; her son James Douglas Mathis; and her grandson Chaz Mathis. She is survived by: her husband Larry Payne; her children, Randy Mathis (Janet) of Leicester and Tracy King (Chris) of Tillman, SC; her sister Shirley Stiles; and her grandchildren, Lewis King and Rebecca Rizer. She is also survived by one great grandson; and numerous friends.
