We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2021, at the age of 80, Sara Louise Smith (Waynesville, North Carolina), born in Bangor, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Ronald C. Decker and Howard W. Smith; and her sister Ruth Pistel. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Schneider (NC) of Fairview, Lucy Evoy (FL), Christopher Moody (NY) of New York and Lawrence Smith (FL); her siblings, Elizabeth Dunbar (MA) of South Hamilton and Seth Dunbar (CT) of Taftville; her grandchildren, Richard Keefe II E. Longmeadow (MA), John Keefe Leicester (NC) and Haley Chapman (FL); and her great grandchildren, Colyn, Melanie and Maddisyn.

Memorial donations may be made to Skyland United Methodist Church in Asheville or favorite Charity.
