He was predeceased by: his father Bill Hampton; and his brother Keith Hampton. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Scroggs Hampton of Waynesville; his wife Gloria Aldridge Hampton of Waynesville; his son Kelly Hampton of Florida; his grandsons, Jase and Maddan; and his sister-in-law Betty Hampton of Brasstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
