He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ray Kirkpatrick; his daughter Sharon Ross (Daryl) of Waynesville, NC; his grandchildren, Shafin Ross of Boone, NC and Taylor Ross of Waynesville, NC; his siblings, Bruce Kirkpatrick, Peggy Hunter (Phil) of Waynesville, NC and Willa Mae Teague of Waynesville, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Frances McClure of Greeneville, TN, Patsy Ray of Waynesville, NC and Agnes Talley (Robert) of Waynesville, NC.
