He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Woody and Carrie Lou Burgess Woody; his wife Thelma Silvers Woody; and his siblings, Raymond Woody and Beulah Hardee.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Gaddis of Waynesville, Claude Woody (Elva Woody) of Waynesville and Tommy Dale Woody of Waynesville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and also his dog.
