She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Goodson and Peggy Carson; and her sister Pamela "Pam" McAllister. She is survived by: her husband Donnie Rose; her daughter Melinda Stanton of Belmont; and her siblings, Stephanie Houck of Greenville, Tennessee, Gene Goodson of Lincolnton, Randall Goodson of Candler and David Ragan of Brevard. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
