He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarvis R. Caldwell and Bonnie Childers Caldwell; his wife Jackie White Caldwell; his brother Hershel Caldwell; and his brother-in-law Roy Ross.

He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Caldwell (Doyle), Harley Caldwell (Pat) and Ann Caldwell Ross. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
