He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Sanford and Valerie Sanford; and his uncles, Clannie Henline (Alma), Craig Henline and Fred Henline (Corena).
He is survived by: his aunt Pat Henline.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woodland Baptist Church (545 Crabtree Rd, Waynesville, NC 28785). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at the Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park (886 Russ Ave, Waynesville, NC 28786).
