She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Long and Ruth Long; her husband John Ensley Powell; and her sisters, Becky Long of Waynesville and Nancy Schulhofer of Waynesville.

She is survived by: her daughters, Johnnie Sue Davis of Waynesville and Becky Powell Hellum of Norway; her grandchildren, Powell Davis, Ivie Greene (Justin) of Waynesville, Christina and Alex Hellum of Norway; her great grandchild Rylee Greene of Waynesville; her friends, Arthur Woody and Lane Hambrick of Waynesville; and her pet Raphie. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

She helped Mama Powell for so many years. I am sorry I could not make the service, but I want you all to remember she will always be with us.
