He was predeceased by: his parents, Chrest A. George and Cecelia George; and his brother Bill George. He is survived by: his son Casey Hubbard; his sister Antonia Gonatos; his nieces, Olympia Lopez (Alex) and Ashley Papazahariou (Herc); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikla, Alexander Lopez, Georganna and Zach Papazahariou.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 280a N Haywood St, Waynesville, NC 28786. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Green Hill Cemetery (161 Veterans Cir, Waynesville, NC 28786).
