He was predeceased by: his parents, John Caldwell and Julie Cagle Caldwell. He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Mathis (Ronnie) of Waynesville, Linda Mitchell (Larry) of Leicester, Jack Caldwell (Susan) of Waynesville, Ned Caldwell, Jr. (Donna) of Canton and Dale Caldwell (Glenda) of Waynesville; and his sister Martha Caldwell of Alabama. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
