She was predeceased by: her parents, Colon Kennedy and Kathleen Kennedy. She is survived by: her significant other Michael "Gene" Clark of Shelby; her daughters, Kristin Clark Westmoreland (Chris) and Jennifer Ashley Clark; her grandchildren, Andrew Kennedy, Abigail Caroline and Cameron Michael Westmoreland; and her sister Suzie Hauser (Pat). She is also survived by grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Long's Chapel Methodist Church (133 Old Clyde Rd, Waynesville, NC 28785). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of First United Methodist Church.
