Myrtle Nichols Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Nichols of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lum Anders and Lona Kuykendall Anders; her husband Leonard Bill Nichols; her son William Stanley Nichols; her siblings, Edith, Mardell, Louise, Hazel, Jeannie, Stella, Weaver and Ben; her grandmother Myrt; her children, Lynn Nichols, Elaine Hefner (Dennis) and Wayne Nichols (Paula); her daughter-in-law Dianne Nichols; her grandchildren, Jason Deal (Angie), Josh Deal, Will Nichols (Crystal), Callie Nichols, Nick Hefner (Ruthann), Anders Davis (Jordan), Colby Nichols (Jordan) and Sydney Withrow (Cody); her great grandchildren, Dana, Jesse, Austin, Amelia Deal, Tanner, Sadie Nichols, Colt Lowe, Deacon Hefner and Reed Davis; her great great grandchild Noah; her sister Ruth Wilson; and her friend Ellen Rathbone. She was also cherished by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, and extended family and friends.
