He was predeceased by: his parent William M. Ferguson; his wife Catherine Muse Ferguson; and his siblings, Ruby F. Alden (Owen Alden), Edna F. Harker (Ed Harker), Mary F. Keener (Lyman Keener), Bonnie F. Hanson (Del Hanson), Claudine F. Greene (Clifford Greene), Ralph Ferguson, Mike Ferguson, Dan Ferguson and Stevie Ferguson.
He is survived by: his son Jeff; his wife Betsy Gibson Ferguson; his siblings, Judith F. Shirley (Beuford Shirley), James Ferguson (Juanita) of Waynesville, Gene Ferguson of Waynesville and Terry Ferguson (Nancy) of Waynesville; and his siblings-in-law, Aulby P. Ferguson (Ralph), Judy, Diane Ferguson (Dan) of Matthews, NC and Claude Gibson (Karen) of Cherokee, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
