Melinda Ray Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2020, at the age of 60, Melinda Ray of Waynesville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Gaila Ka'awalauole Townsend. She is survived by: her father Benny C. Townsend of Crystal River, Florida.; her husband Donny Ray; and her siblings, Neal Townsend of Elliott City, Maryland and Debra Townsend Jones of Kaneohe. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the HOPE A Women's Cancer Center, P. O. Box 16948, Asheville NC 28816, and Melinda be remembered in your thoughts, prayers and support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Hope for a Cure.
