It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mazie Gerringer of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Garrett and Flora Caldwell Kinsland; her former husband William Clarence Muse; her husband Richard Gerringer; and her siblings, Daisy Kinsland, Fannie K. Fugate, Beatrice K. Turner, Louise K. Nelson, Ruth Smith and Garrett Kinsland, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Muse Grant of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hazelwood Baptist Church, 265 Hazelwood Avenue, Waynesville, NC 28786 or to one's favorite charity.
