She was predeceased by: her husbands, Clifford Howell Underwood and Paul Avery Shehan; her son Johnny Underwood; her parents, Charles Elmer and Fannie Mae Stephenson Chambers; her sister Elizabeth Jean Sherrill; and also Susie McCarson.
She is survived by: her children, Clifford L. Underwood (Yong) of Arizona, Joretta Underwood of Candler and Doris Wyatt (Leon); her siblings, Steve Chambers (Rosie), Ollie Francis, Ernest "Shortie" Chambers and James "Cat" Chambers; and her grandchildren, Danny, Cindy, Donna Mae, Jerry, Paul, Richard, Blaine, Sherri, Angie, Johnny, Andy, Pam, Leon "Poss", Joleen, Marybee and Kristia. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
