She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Grasty; and her parents, Ray Smathers and Decie Smathers. She is survived by: her daughters, Daphne George (Teresa Mayne) and Chana Burnette; her grandchildren, Travis George and Kim Marion (Chris); her great grandchildren, Autumn and Ethan George of Grayson Marion; and her siblings, Frieda Medford (James) and Dennis Smathers (Brenda) of Waynesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haywood County ARC or the American Cancer Society.
